1. Who we are

The Penguin Shop (thepenguinshop.com) is operated by Rockstar Marketing Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202609787W), a company registered in Singapore, trading as Raspberry Penguins (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how we handle your information when you visit our site.

2. What we collect

We collect minimal personal data. Specifically:

• Cart data. When you add items to your cart, we store the product identifiers and quantities in a browser cookie on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to our servers.
• Standard server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider logs IP addresses, browser type, pages visited and timestamps for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for marketing.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, physical address or payment information.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Cart cookie. Stores the items you have added to your cart so they persist as you browse. This is a first-party cookie and contains no personal information.
• Admin session cookie. Used only by the site operator to manage the product catalogue. Not set for regular visitors.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

4. Amazon affiliate links

When you click a product link on our site, you are redirected to Amazon. Amazon's own privacy policy then applies to your browsing and any purchase you make. We receive affiliate commission data from Amazon in aggregate (e.g. which products generated clicks and sales) but this data does not identify individual visitors to our site.

5. How we use your data

The limited data we collect is used solely to operate the site: serving pages, maintaining your cart, and monitoring for abuse or errors. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

Cart cookies expire when you close your browser or clear your cookies. Server logs are retained for no longer than necessary for operational and security purposes, typically 30 days.
